What is Karuna?

Research has shown that self-harm and self-destructive behaviour can be initiated when vulnerable individuals feel they are unable to cope with overwhelming or destructive emotions including stress, anxiety, sadness, loss of control, anger, guilt, shame or self-criticism

The cultivation of Karuna has shown to increases self-esteem, heals emotional trauma and significantly enhances emotional health and wellbeing, in addition to reducing anxiety, stress, and harmful emotional states.

This experiential workshop is grounded in mindfulness and self-compassion integrating practical guidance with psychology, mind-body medicine with current evidence-based understanding and knowledge.
