Which Practice Should You Start With?
If You Suffer from Anxiety
We recommend beginning with the Short Body Scan:
-
Practice twice daily for at least 2 weeks to build your foundation.

Follow this with Mindfulness of Breath, practiced daily for the next 2 weeks.

Conclude with Mindfulness of Breath, Sensations, and Sound for another 2 weeks.
Once your practice is established, you can use Rating My Anxiety and SOBER throughout the day to maintain awareness of your internal state.
If You Are Suffering from Stress
Start with the Short Body Scan:

Practice twice daily for at least 1 week.

Transition to Mindfulness of Breath, practiced daily for the next 1 week.

Then progress to Mindfulness of Breath, Sensations, and Sound for 2 weeks.
To manage stress throughout the day, incorporate Sensing Rating Stress and SOBER into your routine.
For short, effective relief, try practices like Slowing Down Your Breath, Stress Pause, or the Set of Four Counting Breath. Choose the one that resonates with you and integrate it into your daily practice.
If You Are Suffering from Depression
Begin with either the Sitting Body Scan or the Lying Down Body Scan:

Practice twice daily for at least 2 weeks.

Move on to Mindfulness of Breath, practiced daily for the next 2 weeks.

Follow this with Mindfulness of Breath, Sensations, and Sound for another 2 weeks.
Once your practice is established, use SOBER frequently throughout the day to maintain awareness and prevent rumination.
